We are a boutique landscape design team based in Park City UT dedicated to creating thoughtful, well-executed design solutions for outdoor environments. Our work is rooted in a clear understanding of each site and aligned with our clients’ objectives, resulting in landscapes that are both functional and enduring. We combine custom design with technical expertise to shape spaces that feel cohesive, purposeful, and enhance the way our clients live, work, and experience their surroundings.
Our services span the full project lifecycle, including site analysis, master planning, and detailed design of planting, hardscape, irrigation, and lighting plans. We produce precise construction drawings and specs. We provide project oversight and management throughout implementation. This integrated hands-on approach ensures design integrity and a high level of execution from concept through completion.
Founder
VisualMax is lead by Steven McBride, an experienced life long designer with a background shaped by both international and award-winning design practices. After receiving a degree in Landscape Architecture from WVU, he trained in Japan under a renowned landscape architect specializing in traditional Edo-period Japanese garden design, working on high-end residential and medical clinic projects that emphasize craftsmanship, cultural and spiritual depth.
Experience in the US includes working with Carter Romanek Landscape Architects in Santa Monica serving the Malibu, Pacific Palisades and the LA area. Scope of design solutions encompassed hospitals, academic campuses, commercial, and high-end residential. The firm served as Landscape Architects for some of the nations top architectural firms on local LA projects.
